Hi, I’m Sarah (she/her)

I am a psychotherapist (LCSW), writer, sex and relationship therapist and educator living and working in New York City.

I am a Certified Holistic Sex Educator (CHSE) through the Institute of Sexuality Education and Enlightenment. I primarily work with individuals and couples looking to explore and navigate areas such as sex, intimacy, trauma, infidelity, gender, communication skills, conflict, and codependency, as well as working through some of the more day-to-day snags and intimacy blocks that we can experience within relationships and ourselves. I also work with individuals in areas such as: Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Eating Disorders and obsessive food and body behaviors, compulsivity, and anxiety.

I primarily work with and support people who work in the adult industry, non monogamous folks, kinky people, and people who are navigating their sexualities and intersections of identity.

I am a kink, LGBTQIA+, and sex worker affirming therapist and coach.

I blend a variety of therapeutic modalities to assist you in reaching your goals, with every approach being tethered to harm reduction and pleasure-centered principles. I believe that radical self acceptance is the antithesis of shame, and is necessary for the development of fulfilling relationships with ourselves and others. With a warm, light, and trauma-informed approach, we’ll work to help you develop a better understanding of yourself and as a result live a more embodied life.

I pursued a Master’s degree in Social Work

from New York University after working for many unfulfilled years in healthcare advertising and copywriting. I became a licensed social worker (LMSW) in 2019 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #095531) in May 2023.

My interest in therapy and education began with my own lived experience and has grown stronger as I’ve witnessed their necessity in the world outside myself. I am most passionate about working with and destigmatizing identities and mental health conditions that are perceived to exist on societal margins and are most misunderstood and stigmatized.

For three years, I worked in an infectious disease clinic, specifically within HIV care, working with individuals and couples navigating a positive status or mixed status relationships as well as providing HIV prevention and sex education.

In August 2022, I became a part of the Sexuality, Attachment, and Trauma Project team. I currently receive clinical supervision with Michael Crocker DSW, LCSW at the SAT project, a practice that specializes in sex, sexuality and gender. You can learn more about Dr. Crocker and the rest of the team here.

I see individuals, couples, and groups in person and virtually depending on preference and availability. My office is located on West 57th Street.
